Lip Blush is a semi-permanent solution that gently enhances your natural lips with a soft wash of colour, tailored to suit your skin tone and personal style. What is Lip Blush?
Lip Blush is a semi-permanent tattooing technique that deposits pigment into the lips using a specialised device. It improves definition, adds a hint of colour, and can help balance uneven tones or asymmetry. The result is a soft, natural-looking finish that gives the appearance of healthier, fuller lips.
Depending on your personal preference, pigment can be applied just along the outer lip line to define and shape. Many clients choose a blended finish, where the lip line is softly shaded into the lips for a more natural look. This is what’s commonly known as Lip Blush. Alternatively, the full lip can be filled with colour to create the appearance of a soft lipstick tint.

Before your treatment, you’ll have a full consultation and a patch test to ensure the procedure is suitable for you.
Together, we’ll choose a colour based on:
- Your natural lip colour
- Your skin tone
- Your lip shape and desired outcome
The Treatment Process
The full procedure usually takes around 2 hours. A topical anaesthetic is applied beforehand to minimise any discomfort.
Immediately after treatment, your lips will appear around 30–40% darker and often brighter than your final result. This will gradually soften over the following 3–4 weeks.
A top-up session is carried out 4–6 weeks later to refine and perfect the final colour.
It’s completely normal for your lips to go through a few colour changes during the healing process. Around day 10–14, the pigment may appear to disappear but this is temporary. Once the skin heals, the colour will return and settle into its final tone. So please don’t panic, it’s all part of the journey!
